Photometric and titrimetric determination of Alkalinity (total)
Photometric determination with bromphenol blue at 2 different wavelengths
All compounds which cause a pH increase above pH 7 are determined, e.g. hydroixde,carbonate, hydrogencarbonate etc.
Note: to differentiate between hydoxide, carbonate and hydrogen carbonate you should use the test kit VISOCOLOR® HE Carbonate hardness C 20 (Order code 915003)
